Chytriomyces (kit-rio-my-sees). This is chytrid, in which the cytoplasm usually resides in a large structure (thallus or sporangium) from which a system of branching elements (rhizoidal system) emerges. As can be seen from this image, the rhizoidal system can be very extensive. Phase contrast.
