Gocevia (go-jee-vee-a) a naked amoeba with affinities to the heterolobose forms such as the acrasid slime moulds. Nucleus with large nucleolus, and contractile vacuoles are evident inside. Some of the cell margin is hyaline. Pseudopodia not evident. Phase contrast,
