Description:
There have been few warblers so far this spring. After we had walked the gravel road, Mary Lou went home and I stood in a grove of small trees. As it is the only wooded area in the middle of the grassland, it sometimes attracts migrants that happen to drop into the area overnight. It was shady and relatively cool and not buggy. After about 20 minutes my patience was rewarded when four Cape May Warblers showed up-- two males and two females. Morning walk in the West Miramar Environmentally Sensitive Land (ESL) next to our Florida home. Visit: blog.rosyfinch.com
