Description:
Mount Tomah, south slope of mountain on track to Station Rock, at base of basalt cap.This is by far the most common tree-fern on Mt Tomah, forming these extensive stands on the basalt slopes and reaching heights of 6-8 m. It is very fire-resisant, resprouting rapidly even after quite fierce wildfire.
