MIMOSSACEAE - White Popinac (Leucaena leucocephala)
Description:
This is a beautiful flower of a White Popinac tree. It is interesting to note that pinnate compound leaves of this tree are rich in protein. They are feedstock for cattle but do not suit humans. Accidental consumption will result in poisoning. This photo was taken on the side of a hill at the back of Mayfair Garden, Tsing Yi, Hong Kong.
