Antigonon leptopus-- the Coral Vine
Description:
Known as Corallita in its native Mexico, this is now a pantropical species and widely invasive. The roots are edible and the leaves medicinal. Here on San Pedro Beach in Baja California it is called the San Miguel Vine. Polygonaceae Family.
