Trissolcus flavipes
Description:
One of three female Trissolcus flavipes parasitoid wasps of the Scelionidae family found on oak bark in Guestling Woods. Additional pictures below can be viewed larger with a click. Note horizontal arcuate striae on frons above antennal toruli reaching almost to anterior ocellus, eyes without hairs, 2nd tergite with longitudinal striations over at least two-thirds of its length.
