Description:

[taxonomy:binomial=Aconophora mexicana] [taxonomy:family=Membracidae] Treehoppers communicate via substrate-borne vibrations. Little is known about the vibrations of this species. Here we see a female, guarding her nymphs, and producing signals when she was disturbed.
