Description: Lactophrys bicaudalis (Linnaeus, 1758) - spotted trunkfish. (photo taken by Mark Peter) The branching organism at upper left is Millepora alcicornis (branching fire coral). The purplish organism near lower left is Gorgonia ventalina (common seafan). The coral at the lower left corner is Diploria strigosa (symmetrical brain coral). Classification: Animalia, Chordata, Vertebrata, Actinopterygii, Tetraodontiformes, Ostraciidae Locality: Snapshot Reef, Fernandez Bay, offshore western San Salvador Island, eastern Bahamas.
