Tabanus bovinus
Description:
Description: Tabanus bovinus. Picture taken by nulb0ard 22.06.2006, Vääksy, Finland. Getting a decent photo wasn't easy, as these flies like to move around a lot. I had to trap five of them in my car and move around very slowly to keep them still. The flies react to anything that moves quickly, but they seem to be unable to detect slow motion.
