Description:

Description: Continuing to catch up on pictures from my Costa Rica trip in February. Flycatchers are everywhere in Costa Rica, and while probably not as hard to identify as the North American flycatchers we get here, were certainly a constant challenge. As a representative for my 100 birds project, I decided to go with one that I particularly enjoyed watching: this Tufted Flycatcher that spent several minutes sallying out for bugs in the high canopy during our hanging jungle canopy walk in Selvatura, Monteverde.
