Argiope male and female 4342
Description:
Description: English: Argiope male and female (Argiope keyserlingi) together. The much smaller male was observed in close proximity to the larger female, but no contact between them was seen. A short time later, the male moved away. It is possible that the male was investigating if the female was ready for mating. This photo was taken 60 km north of Cairns, Queensland.
