Dis eintlik 'n diepsee- en bodembewonende spesie wat per abuis deur plaaslike vissermanne in hul vissersnette kuswaarts gedra word. Hierdie een was lewendig toe dit gefotografeer is. English: A female of the Indo-Pacific horseshoe crab, photographed in the West Bengal-Odisha coastal region on the Indian coast line of the Bay of Bengal. It's basically deep seabed dwelling species, but it's carried by local fisher man to the coast by mistake in their fishing nets. This specimen was alive when photographed. Date: 14 June 2012.
