Description: Ancistrocerus trifasciatus (Müller, 1776), Søborg, Denmark, 29 May 2016 Keyed as follows, using Archer, 2014, The Vespoid Wasps of the British Isles: 1. Posterior and lateral faces of the propodeum with surface structure not smooth 2. Surface of second gastral sternite slighly convex posterior to ridged furrow. Ridges in furrow >2 times longer than distance between them. 5. Weakly convex surface of 2nd gastral sternum merges gradually into furrow. 6.
