Fritillaria sinica speckled Pink form - Flickr - peganum

Description:
Description: I'm very excited about this one. It doesn't look like much yet but I didn't expect ever to see it again. I got it from Cotswold's last year for a fiver. Had no idea what to expect or what conditions it might like. I put it in the sunny raised bed and the slugs promptly took the top off it. So I thought that was that. Apparently not - this year two strong new shoots and a couple of little ones besides! The only picture I've found shows a pink tessellated white bell so should be well worth looking at. I'll keep you posted. Note the slug pellets. Date: 26 February 2012, 16:33. Source: Fritillaria sinica speckled Pink form?. Author: peganum from Small Dole, England.
