Fritillaria sinica pink speckled form - Flickr - peganum

Description:
Description: or at least that's what the label said when I got it from Cotswold's a few years back, flowering for the first time. Do you think it's supposed to look like that - with the bud pointing upwards among the leaves? That bud is nearly 2ins long btw. Any ideas what it is? It seems happy enough but very odd. Date: 3 March 2013, 12:38. Source: Fritillaria sinica pink speckled form?. Author: peganum from Small Dole, England.
