Helianthella uniflora (left) and Balsamorhiza saggitata (right) and other natives dead and dying after area was treated with herbicide
Description:
Description: English: The small patch of vegetation on a south facing aspect was sprayed with herbicide by some "do gooder" in an effort to eradicate a small patch of leafy spurge that hasn't been going anywhere for the last 25 years. All native plants were killed or severely impacted and leafy spurge and musk thistle are the only plant species resprouting even after dry middle summer conditions. Date: 5 August 2014, 13:48:03.
