Symphytum grandiflorum - Flickr - peganum (1)

Description:
Description: Most Comfrey are a bit of a risk in the garden and can become very invasive weeds but this one just creeps over the surface and is easy to control. I remember, when I first saw it, being very drawn to the contrast between the creamy flowers and the orange buds and the rich green leaves. It's been very difficult to capture the effect. I think it's rather elegant. Date: 14 April 2011, 07:42. Source: Symphytum grandiflorum. Author: peganum from Small Dole, England.
