Anthopleura sola in Low light (6501613835)

Description:
Description: The greener the Anemone, the more algae within. This was hidden under a ledge, and in areas of low light intensity = less photosynthesis, and less green color. However, the oral plate still shows the stripes of the A. sola. Certainly different colors here. Again, try black. Thanks to Mimi and Nan for suggesting this spot for us @ Shell Beach, and to Steve for sharing his excellent photos too. We had a neat day. Date: 9 December 2011, 17:51.
