Common Loon (34542175296)

Description:
Description: The same loon as yesterday and one of two loons diving and feeding in the area of the Robinhood Marina in Georgetown, ME. This one stayed around the float and I was chasing it around trying to anticipate where it would surface after a dive to try to get the best close ups. The lighting was better as well as the angle. I can see more color highlights in the head. This bird is noted for its variety of calls. Date: 9 May 2017, 10:13. Source: Common Loon. Author: Paul VanDerWerf from Brunswick, Maine, USA.
