Dendroica coronata auduboni (1)
Description:
Description: Setophaga auduboni (syn. Dendroica coronata auduboni). I've always known there were birds in my apple tree but it wasn't until all the leaves fell off that I started noticing three warblers that came several times a day to eat the few apples remaining on the tree. This Audubon's Warbler came about every 12 to 15 minutes to have a bit of apple. The other regulars were a Townsend's Warbler and an Orange-crowned Warbler. The Ruby-crowned Kinglet also made daily visits but his were not as frequent. Date: 2 March 2008, 11:34. Source: Yellow-Rumped Warbler - Dendroica coronata-Audubon's Uploaded by berichard.
