Description:

Description: SONY DS Cool and chilly nights abound A much reduced catch this morning, but Spruce Carpet and Eriocrania subpurpurella made it on the year list which was a bonus. Stigmella aurella was also observed at dusk flying around recently exited mines on my 'left to grow' Bramble at the bottom of the garden, as an adult this is new for the garden. I am hopefully going out tonight to either Therfield Heath or Hexton Chalk Pit to search for Northern Drab..2 were caught last night the first County records since 1985! Our County moth recorder managed to do it so really pleased for him.
