Description: Catching up from the start of last week! On Monday night it was actually quite a mild night and so the trap was switched on again and the 250w frosted venture bulb swapped out for the blinding 250w clear bulb made by GEC. 7 species were added to the year list and very pleasing indeed. It was great to get my third species of Hawk-moth for the year, a large female Privet. The first migrant of the year arrived in the form of a Plutella xylostella. Garden species count for 2018 now upto 110. Here is last Monday's new for year species.
