Description: Clavaria zollingeri group Image location: Yarrahapinni State Forest, North of Grassy Head, New South Wales, Australia May be Ramaria versatilis var. violaceibrunnea. Found growing in forest soil consisting of leaf litter and decomposing woody matter. Specimens were growing to a height averaging 50mm. Soil was wet and area is Eucalypt and rainforest growth near fresh water creek. Low light area and palm fronds dropping at the time. This specimen has not been observed here by myself before over several years of constant visits during all months of the year.
