Prairie Smoke (14442675922)
Description:
Description: Prairie Smoke is a perennial native wildflower found on high-quality native prairie sites. After pollination, the down-turned flower becomes upright and seeds wave the feathery plumes that give this plant its common name. These beautiful flowers were photographed on the Cornell WPA in LaMoure County, North Dakota. Photo Credit: Krista Lundgren/USFWS. Date: 29 May 2014, 11:05. Source: Prairie Smoke.
