Little Blue Dragonlet, male (3708445048)
Description:
Description: I believe this is a little blue dragonlet (erythrodiplax minuscula). The are so small that they have two diminutives in their name. They like to fly low through grass and don't usually move too far when startled. That metalic blue/black vertex is a characteristic of the male. The female has yellow/brown abdomen and her vertex is more blue. Here is a link to the female: www.flickr.com/photos/drphotomoto/3956388278/. Date: 10 July 2009, 15:53.
