Description: Ceanothus confusus—Rincon Ridge ceanothus. included in the CNPS. Inventory of Rare and Endangered Plants on list 1B.1 (rare, threatened, or endangered in CA and elsewhere). The species grows in a restricted range within the middle North Coast Ranges of Napa, Sonoma, and Lake counties. The species is threatened by development, although that threat should be alleviated a bit by the new Berryessa-Snow Mountain National Monument. The plant photographed is from the Regional Parks Botanic Garden Located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA. Date: 7 November 2015, 15:46.
