Dunn Ranch is an amazing project that's about restoring 1000's of acres of tallgrass prairie and all life dependent on it, like this grassland Sandpiper. Grateful for the experience of witnessing this bird at Dunn Ranch, I cherish the photo of this bird that is emblematic for this labor of love going on at Dunn Ranch and who sings the most haunting part of the dawn chorus of the tallgrass prairie along with Greater Prairie Chickens, Bobolinks, Henslow's Sparrows and many other birds.
