Description:
Description: Love Flower ( Pseuderanthemum variabile), planted on the Butterfly Walk at the Woodford Folk Festival site, is the host plant for the Leafwing and Varied Eggfly butterflies and also the Blue Argus, Blue-banded Eggfly and Danaid Eggfly butterflies, less common to this region. The self-seeding Love Flower can provide a very pretty permanent groundcover in a suitable partially shaded moist spot. (See Frank Jordan & Helen Schwencke "Create More Butterflies", p54).
