Description: English: The image shows a mass of hundreds of dead Mupli beetles, Luprops tristis, captured in a makeshift insect trap in Kottayam district, Kerala, India. The container with a detergent solution was placed under the 9W LED light and left overnight. Some beetles can also be seen huddled on the light.
