Description: Last outing in the garden Another catch and from last Sunday now before I went away. A much bigger catch including a new species for me Argyresthia glabratella/laevigatella which needs to be dissected to be 100% sure. Other nice moths were the regular Beautiful Golden-Y and a couple of bright Green Silver-lines and a very good record for the garden, only my second ever Brown Silver-line with my first recrd being two years ago in 2015..there really isn't much Bracken around here unfortunately. 18 new species for the year was excellent. Another moth worth mentioning was also only the second record for the garden and last seen in 2013, a stunning Flame Carpet. I also got another Pammene, this time the more common Pammene regiana turned up, a year first all the same. The weather continues to be quite warm but with cooler night time temperatures expected as of today as we move into June!
