Sidalcea candida - Flickr - peganum (2)

Description:
Description: I seem to remember reading that this species, like many eastern US species, although perfectly cold hardy, needs a lot of summer heat to thrive. It certainly seems to have enjoyed this warm spring we've had but i'd hardly have called it delicate before. Date: 11 June 2011, 12:59. Source: Sidalcea candida. Author: peganum from Small Dole, England.
