Description:
Description: A water-level view of the North Fork of Battle Creek, where approximately 29,000 endangered winter-run juvenile Chinook salmon were released on Friday, March 2. Battle Creek is a tributary of the Sacramento River where the winter-run once thrived. The fish are from the Livingston Stone National Fish Hatchery captive broodstock program and were trucked from Coleman National Fish Hatchery earlier that morning. CDFW Photo/Doug Killam.
