Pheucticus melanocephalus 3
Description:
Description: Pheucticus melanocephalus He looks a bit wary but at least he didn't bolt before I got my picture. In previous years these birds have been very wary and intolerant of any movement around the house or yard, but this one's actually pretty mellow. I'm going to enjoy having him and his mate around for the summer. Date: 4 May 2008, 16:50. Source: Black-Headed Grosbeak Uploaded by berichard. Author: Linda Tanner from Los Osos, California, U.S.A.
