Description:
Clypeaster annandalei caviventer Deraniyagala, 1961; Holotype (Colombo Museum No. F 60.5.32), Miocene, Minihagal Kanda, Sri Lanka. Aboral and oral view. Length of test 41 mm. Note that while the plate description suggest that both images illustrate the same specimen, namely the holotype, this clearly is not the case. from Deraniyagala, P. E. P. 1961.
