Porch light-2
Description:
Prionus imbricornis - Tile-horned Prionus - This came to the kitchen window, right by the porch. I recognized it by its distinctive floppy "thunk" on the window. These things never sit still--I placed it on the stage and it raced off. I ended up setting the autofocus to continuous and doing a series of runs across the stage. Eventually I got a couple in focus and with the beetle alert.
