Leaves 3 foliate,scarbid hairy; Flowers 6-8mm across, purple, solitary, axillary, Flower 4 merous, Calyx 4 partite, serrate, corolla 4 lobes, stamens many, filaments filiform; ovary 1 celled, Capsule lanceolate, compressed, closely striate.
