2011-04-18 Vienna X. district (Unterlaa, 173 msm Quadrant 7864/4).German name: Wild-TulpeThis plant isn't native here but long since has become naturalised; it's the wild ancestor of tulip cultivars.Here in Austria it is flowering only rarely, on many places only leaves ever show; this year however had been a good flowering year for the wild tulip.
