Are they here yet?

Description:
Yes!This time of the year, I take a walk whenever I can to check if the local terrestrial orchids are already growing leaves, and if they're doing well. A few months ago they weren't visible -- all that was left of them were the thick roots under the ground. This species is common, but in urban areas the plants seldom get to bloom because of the use and abuse of lawnmowers.
