Atelopus pulcher
Description:
These harlequin frogs, listed critically endangered by IUCN, were fairly abundant on a path in the A.C.R. Cordillera Escalera during the day. Since they only live around the upper ro Huallaga valley, where many suitable habitats have been destroyed, these beautiful frogs are fighting extinction.
