CN: [Malay - Keladi gajah, Keladi sebaring, Keladi seberang, Keladi hitam, Senteh, Sente, Birah, Birah negeri], Giant taro, Elephant ear taro. Native to rainforests from Malaysia to Queensland and has long been cultivated for its edible stem on many Pacific islands and elsewhere in the tropics both for food and ornamental.
