Fibrocapsa (fie-bro-caps-a) is a raphidophyte flagellate. The raphidophytes are one of the subsets of stramenopiles with chloroplasts, and the plastids are typically discoidal and orange or yellow brown because of the predominance of chlorophylls a and c.
