Description:
This genus is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands with 4 species, 1 extinct. This species was endemic to the island of Molokai and is now extinct in the wild. Few plants exist in cultivation now, most are grafted using root stock of Kokia drynariodes. There are 2 trees at the Greenwell Garden.
