Description:

Slo.: bela polevka - Habitat: Mixed wood side, rich mixture of Fagus sylvatica, Picea abies, Alnus incana, etc.; under a Fagus sylvatica, W inclined hill slope, calcareous ground, half shade, partly protected from direct rain by tree canopies, average precipitations ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 8-10 deg C, elevation 415 m (1.350 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: forest soil, leaf litter. - Comments: Growing solitary but many scattered around; pileus diameter up to 8 cm (3 inch), taste mild, smell mild, slightly unpleasant, cap an stalk sticky, white (oac900-oac909), gills whitish-beige (oac857), SP whitish (oac851). - Spores smooth.
