Image of sawtooth bristleweed
Description:
This is one of many images taken May 3, 2006 during as part of a survey of plants in and around the UCSB Manzanita Village restoration site on the coastal bluff vernal pools and campus lagoon areas with Wayne Chapman of UCSB. Wayne believes this may be var. squarrosa but it seems to key closer to var. obtusa (erect phyllaries).
