Near highway about 3 miles east of McCloud. Pole timber stand of young growth Ponderosa pine trees between 12" and 20" DBH. WL looking at tree 20" DBH and 99 years old. This stand one of many of such size in Eastside county around McCloud on the sandy soils of lava origin. Site 150-175. Assoc. sp.: Some bitterbrush in left background with Ceanothus cordulatus., T 39 N R 2 W Sec 4 Quad name: Dunsmuir. Quad number: 14.
