'heads discoid, few; involucre 1117.5 mm, cylindric; phyllaries graduated, oblong to ovate, firm, not keeled, tips irregularly toothed or notched, abruptly pointed; receptacle flat, finely pitted, epaleate. Flower: 47; corolla 9.511.5 mm, yellow; anther tip narrowly triangular; style tips linear, appendage > stigmatic portion. Fruit: 79 mm, glabrous; pappus = corolla. 'TJM2
