Description:
Palmyra palm (Borassus flabellifer) is common in Thailand. It lost its natural wet habitat and remained in rice fields edges. Here you can see fruits that germinate under adult trees. I managed to taste younger fruits, they are about half size of a coconut, with a nice delicious white, fleshy inner part.
