Description:
Carpobrotus belongs to the Mesembs (Ice Plant) plant Family (Mesembryanthemaceae). Most of the species occur in South Africa, A few migrated north to the Mediterranean and east to Australia. This is one of the few Australian species. I wonder how it got there, by see, or before the continents seperated.
