Description:
Centaurea onopordifolia reaches its southern range in Mt Hermon, until now we found only 2 plants within Israel. U can see here one of them. Unlike most other Centaurea species, this one has winged stems and spiny leaves, hence its name that means 'Onopordum-like' leaves.
